When the Water Stopped, God Provided “Thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everwhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him” 2 Corinthians 2:14 Recently at Tenwek Hospital, every tap in the hospital compound suddenly ran dry. Heavy turbulence at the dam forced a shutdown of the water supply, and immediately the strain was felt throughout the hospital. We needed water — and we needed God to provide. In His perfect timing, the rains earlier that week had filled our storage tanks. Although the water was not safe to drink, God had already supplied what we needed before the crisis even began. As soon as word spread about the need, the missionary community quickly mobilized. We gathered Sawyer water filters and purchased buckets from local shops to create multiple filtration systems.
