Our time left in the states is flying at warp speed.  We will be leaving October 17th for Nairobi.  The stay in Nairobi will be for several days to collect supplies and then head to Tenwek.  We still have not heard where we will be living but we trust God in the process to bring us to a comfortable place we can call home.

Our fund raising has gone well.  We are funded for WGM living expenses for a year.  Our first term will be 18 months and we trust the rest will come.  We are still actively fund raising for our ministries including water filters, patient compassion fund, medical equipment, and Kitoben orphanage. We have several presentations to give before we leave and are hoping this will ignite some hearts to give.

We anticipate the massive culture change about to occur.  We don't know how to prepare except cast ourselves in Jesus' arms and allow Him to carry us through.  We have 3 months of language and culture training which will help us get settled in before digging in to all the work.  Thank you for your prayers during this transition. You hold up our arms in the battle!

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.  And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. 1 John 3:16
